Summary: In my future, I hope to major software development. I'd like to take this as an opportunity to learn java and get knowledgeable about what I'd be doing before I go to college. Out of all other options this would be my first choice.
Goals of the Inquiry: My long term goal is to develop and publish some kind of software of my own creation such as an app, game, or website.
Research necessary for Inquiry: Mostly planning to research via online articles, videos/tutorials, and books.
Benchmarks/Deadlines: Research, Getting familiar with it through practice and applying what I've learned, try working on an actual project.
Potential Costs: Research is free, Java is free, but licenses for actual development software and being able to publish to larger platforms will cost a bit of money.
Marketing/Communication: I can present to family, peers, and administrators by physically showing the results of my research and upload what I've done online to be accessible to anyone.

Potential Costs: Nothing aside from if I wanted to upgrade editing software

Summary: Filming myself presenting recipes as well as trying to learn new ones.
Goals of the Inquiry: Learn recipes, improve cooking skills
Benchmarks/Deadlines: If I follow this goal I plan to learn a recipe then cook a recipe in that order multiple times this year and throw in some general studies of more general cooking techniques.
Potential Costs: Buy ingredients
Marketing Communications: Make tutorial videos or take progress photos and upload them online
